It has the best track record. Electrolysis has the best overall results, versus any other method, in ridding hair permanently. Many different hair and skin types can benefit. Because it doesn't target hair pigment (color) like laser, but attacks the follicle itself. People that aren't good candidates for laser can still get Electrolysis done.    

Electrolysis hair removal is the only method for all skin and hair types. It does require multiple sessions to achieve best possible results, but permanent hair removal isn't 100% guaranteed for everyone.

How does it work?

With this method, an extremely thin probe is inserted into the hair follicle. As soon as the needle is above the hair root, a short current pulse is triggered and thus the hair root is coagulated. If the hair has been in the anagen phase (growth phase), it can now no longer regenerate and therefore will not grow back.

How many sessions will I need?

It takes several sessions as the hair grows in different stages: growing phase, resting phase as well as transitional phase.

With Electrolysis it is the same as with laser, IPL, or SHR methods, every hair must be in the growth phase to achieve a guaranteed result.

What do I need to consider?

A thorough health assessment is essential as there are many points to consider for successful hair removal. In addition, you as a client must ensure that you protect yourself from the sun and that your skin always receives sufficient care.

Please also note that cooperation between the client and the beautician is crucial for a quick and positive final result. No plucking between treatments, just trim the hair.

Pro's:

• Electrolysis is the only method for 100% permanent hair removal.
• Every Hair caught in the growing phase will not come back.

Con's:                   

• You have to expect several treatments, as each hair is treated individually. How many sessions it really takes varies from person to person. We can't give you an assessment, as that would be dishonest.
• The treatment intervals can be between 2-12 weeks, depending on the region.

Costs: basic rate CHF 45.- (10 Min.) afterwards per minute CHF 5.20/ for example: 30 min = CHF 156.-
